Due to our growth, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Developer helps clients identify, develop, socialize and implement dashboards, reports and charts that turn insight into action. Description of Duties:

 

  • Work with client business and policy stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve outcomes with data analysis techniques.
  • Develop a deep understanding of data sources and data normalization practices.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for data-driven applications and BI toolsets.
  • Interpret data and develop strategic recommendations for clients.
  • Deliver insights on potential areas of growth, optimization, and improvements.
  • Support business intelligence strategies with quantitative analysis.
  • Work cross-departmentally on data-driven strategies that improve decision-making.
  • Consult on complex data analysis by refining research questions and providing important context to the analyses.
  • Conduct advanced project research and manages aspects of project execution (may include design, methodology, data collection, analysis, and report preparation).
  • Present findings to client stakeholders.
  • Participate in prescribed Scrum ceremonies.
  • Obtain functional and/or technical certifications as deemed appropriate for specialization.
  • Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly time entry compliance.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years’ experience in developing visualizations and dashboards preferred
  • 1+ experience in leading a Business Intelligence team or larger projects preferred\
  • Proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI or QLIK (QLIK preferred)
  • Certification in a Visualization tool preferred
  • Knowledge of Python, Databricks, SQL and/or Jupyter Notebooks
  • Experience in developing visualizations related to financial data preferred
  • Knowledge of agile project management techniques, such as Scrum is preferred
  • Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, especially Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to obtain a US Government Security Clearance
  • Must have 2 years experience in a post-graduation, full-time position. Experience can be in any field. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or business administration required.
