We are seeking a talented IT Project Manager to work on site with our client in the Bloomington, IN area. The Project Manager would be the single point of ownership and management for their assigned projects. Successful candidates must be resourceful, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with a passion for understanding client need and translating that into effective system implementation. Description of Duties:

  • Provide leadership, organization and coordination to support PMO’s key activities, encompassing program planning, governance and project management.
  • Ensure all projects administered by the PMO adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for program management.
  • Manage change and promote the continuous improvement of project management related processes.
  • Guide project stakeholders in defining project scope, charter and other project deliverables.
  • Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports and plans are relevant, accurate and complete.
  • Maintain and update the project management framework and disciplines necessary to support a PMO.
  • Collaborate with a cross functional teams to drive adherence and adoption for global delivery methods for consistent delivery to meet or exceed project targets and quality targets.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in project management on small – large sized projects with an emphasis on IT Infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Project Management principals, concepts and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to include internal/external interaction, documentation and presentations.
  • Confident in making decisions, accurate, detailed-oriented and able to problem solve/analyze.
  • Good interpersonal, listening, written and verbal communication and basic project management skills.
  • Experience in the Biotech industry is a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or business administration required
